(TORONTO, May 3, 2005) - Twice a year the commercial enterprise
KnobArt.Com transforms itself into an art gallery dedicated to honouring
its own artists personal visions and achievements. Eye of the Beholder
showcases four visual artists, Sharin Barber, Natalie Ross, Adrianne
Kulling and Robert Farmer, who work in very different styles yet have a
common passionate commitment to their work.
Known for realizing their clients dreams, these artists now invite their
clients and the public to support and celebrate their own. Sharin Barber
creates works in unusual media, combining images from art history with
representations of everyday objects. Natalie Ross creates collages using
beautiful hand-made Japanese paper. Adrianne Kulling creates funky objects
with a nostalgic flair and a 1950s aesthetic. Robert Farmer works in oils on
copper plate and is inspired by things as diverse as abandoned buildings
and fairy tales, wherever reality and unreality intersect.
The opening and reception is Sunday May 15th 2-7pm and runs from May 17th
to 21st at Barber Home and Gallery, 158 Avenue Road, Toronto.
